Hey Christopher- I do not agree at all with Victor. All of those companies he mentions are generalists and not specialists. I have been in this business now over 34 years. Those national companies are cheap and can not do what we do. Special papers, special finishing, hand work, intense diecutting-no way. But if you want cheap, call them. If you want special, call me.

Now- that being said, this is not an industry I suggest getting involved with. I believe that the better years are behind us. Twenty years ago, people valued quality-now, it seems to be price. I worked with a national retailer for 20 years. Did amazing work. But they found it cheaper online and a 20 year relationship went out the window. I just recently saw one of their stores and the banner in the front window looked like it came out of a clothes dryer-all wrinkled and messy. But it was cheap-and I keep saying cheap-not quality. Is this what you want to get involved with?

Go into real estate, the stock market. Stay away from print.
