About Us

Our firm represents individuals in Florida and Puerto Rico in the areas of family law, bankruptcy law (Chapter 7 and 13, and corporate bankruptcy), student loan discharge, probate, airport and cruise accidents and some civil matters. We strive to provide a professional, courteous, and cost effective representation. Attorney Santiago has over 25 years of experience in the legal profession, and is licensed to practice in FL and PR both at the state and federal level. We have offices in Central Florida and in Puerto Rico.

How We Got Started

I was blessed to receive the best training there is: I was an associate at a top tier corporate law firm in Puerto Rico, working for some of the most respected and experienced attorneys. Eventually, I left the law firm and opened my own office, and now practice in Florida and Puerto Rico.

As always, I am still available to clients via email, and if necessary via telephone when scheduled with the office.  Frequent and effective communication with our clients continues to be a priority to us.

Giving back to the community has always been a part of who I am.  My parents taught me it is important to give from what you have, always.  My dad was a member of a Lion's Club, and we worked a ton of muscular dystrophy marathons, Roberto Clemente charity events, and many other charity activities.  We would work on giving back at least one weekend out of every month, no questions asked.   Today, I use my profession to give back.  I take on a number of pro bono cases a year, and also make contributions by sitting on boards of several organizations, as well as making personal contributions.

Our donations and time are focused on supporting efforts initiated by this organization, which is being a key player in collecting items for relief flights to Puerto Rico, and assisting incoming Puerto Ricans with different necessities. For example, we are supporting a "Promesa de Reyes" effort to collect funds to buy toys and hand them our on Three Kings Day to those in need.
