Always under promise and over deliver, as was said by William Frazier below. For example, we are in the commercial landscaping/landscape maintenance business. We make sure that when cut lawn areas (some of which can be up to 10 acres), we also whip all the weeds in the parking areas, along the curbs, including the ones on the street in front of their property and on their private roadways, and on sidewalks/walkways/interlock brick areas. It makes their property "pop" as compared to their neighbours whose properties have weeds along all interlock and curbs, especially on the street at the front.
Attention to detail in the maintenance of the lawn areas of the properties. For example, we whip all weeds from the cracks in sidewalks/walkways, in the parking lots/roadways, along the curbs, and edge and weed the beds every visit
