Downsizing Diva are the senior move management experts who help seniors and their families deal with the often overwhelming challenge of moving from a family home to a condo, retirement residence or care community. Downsizing Diva can help with any or all aspects of move preparation and move day logistics from pre-move (sort, organize, downsize and pack) to move day (meet the movers, put everything in its place at the new home) and post-move (clearing and cleaning the former home). While working on clients’ projects, Downsizing Diva provides care, compassion and the time to share a story and a smile.

My inspiration to become a Diva developed from my experience of being an estate trustee for my aunt. I coordinated all aspects of the estate, from sorting personal and business papers, selling items not wanted by family, removal of garbage, cleaning of the house and donating items to local charities. I also oversaw the hiring of a realtor and staging the home for sale, as well as working with estate lawyers and accountants. The experience made me realize that many people are faced with the daunting task of downsizing, relocating and sorting—and often without help.
