At Realty Leaders we have a passionate vision of first-class customer service and professional conduct, which is based on integrity and honesty. Most of our agents have lived in the area for many years and know how to assist buyers find that perfect spot for their new vacation or year round home!

How We Got Started

Realty Leaders LLC began in 2003. Formerly operated under the name EXIT Realty Leaders, a franchise office of EXIT Realty Corp. @024 started off with a new name! Same great people but now wholly owned and operated by Ted and Carol Bateman. Our agents are ready to assist buyers looking for their dream home. Having lived here our agents know how to find what buyers are looking for whether that cabin in the woods, lakeside home or plot of land to build on. Sellers find that local knowledge assists in the marketing of their properties.

It is always best to present yourself in a business like fashion. Don't over promise when selling what makes you a great agent! Strive to provide the best possible information upfront to your clients, and if you don't know the answer, tell them you'll get it for them!  Every agent is unique as... (more) First thing is talk with a lender, get a pre-approval letter This will  1) show you what you can afford to purchase for a home 2) show the Realtor you work with that you really are serious about purchasing a home and knowing what you can afford allows the Realtor to zero in on the right home rather than finding out after inspections and appraisal that you can't afford this home you fell in love with. 3) most importantly, when you do find that perfect home, the Seller will know that you are qualified to purchase it and taking it off the active list is going to be worth it!

Many buyers today come in armed with all the information on a house and feel they do not need a 3rd party in the process, just someone who knows the house and they are comfortable working with.

We try to make connections face to face with new or unknown businesses in the area. Many times the best way to do so is to invite new business owners to a local community event. The information that consumers pull from it, is so often wrong and makes agents look bad when they have to say, Zillow has it wrong, that house closed 4 months ago or it is a house that is going into foreclosure and may not be on the market for months, no, we cannot get the bank to sell it to you now, they have a process. Sometimes they just won't believe us!
