About Us

I have MANY Information Technology related services: Web Design, Computer repair, Virus removal, Documents (WORD, POWERPOINT, EXCEL, AUDIO, VIDEO, MORE), Data Recovery, ONLINE TECHNICAL SUPPORT for any location, & so much more. If it's related to I.T. ...I do it. I am located in Oxnard California, I do web development and remote technical support for anyone/anywhere, and I also have local services like data recovery, computer repair, custom machine building for special needs, ...business or personal services. I will come out to your business with at least 24 hours notice. I DON'T RUN CABLE FROM ROOM TO ROOM OR ATTIC/CIELING DROPS. (sorry, you need an electrician for that, I will terminate though)

How We Got Started

I guess you can't change the title, just the content. Oh well...Everyone gets started the same way...

My focus is customer service, and ethics. Web development in many circles is somewhat cutthroat. Here you will get a personalized service, at a fair price, and no one will take advantage of you. I will tell you if your computer is worth repairing before I even consider taking any money. I don't believe in repairs that cost more than the value of the machine. And in the web development field, there are a lot of choices your developer makes for you, and recommendations he/she gives you. If they aren't the right ones, you can end paying a lot for a site you may have to re-build in a year, so you should make sure your developer knows what he/she is talking about when they recommend themes, hosting companies, plugins, security solutions, and the many other features your site will need. Make the wrong choices, and it could cost you double in the end. I know this business, inside and out.

There are times when I typically endure a lot of attacks because of it, ...but I look at people around me, and especially how people are posting online, and I can literally "feel" the fear through their writings. But this is one of those times when I have peace. I do think you have to stay positive, and you may have to "break" from anything you feel bringing you down right now. So far, I have only had to unfriend and block 1 individual who "was" my friend, but she started wigging out posting crazy stuff. I noticed that the second I dumped her and no longer was reading her posts...my focus changed back to what it should be...so be careful what you are reading, what you are listening to...there is a lot of "supposition" out there...people who know nothing about nothing but think they know literally everything. Be smarter than they are. Listen only to the CDC and to your local, state, and federal government, and nobody elses crap. That works for me anyways. :-)  be blessed, get some peace. If you need to talk, find someone to talk to.

get a Google Voice number, use it for business, and let it ring your cell phone, and a landline when you are able to get one. If you use a Google voice number for business, you won't ever have to worry about moving, because it's in the cloud, it goes where you do. Best Google service ever imo. Word of mouth helps a little, but if you are a stationary building, very little. And if you don't have one, you need to start now, because it can take up to a year to see results from what you start today. And if any quick talking salesmen tell you differently, they are lying to you. Don't get sucked in to false SEO promises. It takes time and work. There are certain things you get paid help for, but in the end, if you don't put participate also, it won't be "as" beneficial. You need to post on multiple accounts, take a lot of pictures, get reviews from your clients, and make sure your website is being crawled my both Google and Bing, and Yahoo also helps some. You also need great mobile site or app also, since majority used mobile browsers now.  there is much more, but if I told you how to all of it, I wouldn't get paid. But there is plenty of info if you take the time to search it out. Besides, you can only write so much on a post. 😋

SEO is complex, to say the least. If you aren't getting the answers you want from Google, you may want to consider hiring someone. YOu can google for answers, or pay someone. And for the cost, you can pay however much you can afford to invest in your marketing. A couple/few hours can get you set up pretty good...and if you have a larger budget you can take it further and do some paid marketing on Facbook ads, Google ads, and more.  Also make sure you have set up and are linked to numberous social media sites, facebook, twiiter, pinterest, instagram, youtube, etc etc. (those are the main ones, but I actually have a list of over a hundred places you can list yourself, and it' is constantly changing)  And this may sound petty...but I still get a large number of local clients straight from Craig's List. :-)

Well, it depends on what context you are referring to it in really. You said it yourself:  " they have local stores and employ local folks " ...that pretty much makes them a local business...AND a global one. So I say yes.

I don't offer a lot of specials, but they do know I am trying to give them the best prices I can, and that they are fair, and they seem to be content if you just aren't in for the money, and aren't ripping them off. But mostly, it's just a genuine concern for the client, and always having their concerns foremost. That and quality...they know quality when they see it.

it's probably true...when I do a search myself...I skip over the paid ads autmotatically. I'm sure there are many just like me that do the exact same thing. But there is responsibility involved in that...virus protection, regular backups, etc. But then, you can only access it on that particular machine. What if you need something when you are out somewhere, or using another computer?  I handle a LOT of data. Besides all mine, I manage complete data sets for many of my clients. I have a home-built desktop PC with 6 very large hard drives in them. One for data, documents, web site files for sites I upkeep, my own business documents, not to mention all the stuff for my personal life. Then images in another place (personal images, not belonging to websites) and another one just for downloads, and a couple for backups. And on top of that I have cloud accounts.  I recommend a combinataion of personal PC and cloud solution. I like my files in the cloud so I can access them if I need to. But I don't run it as often as I should. (because constantly running it to stay in sync uses computer resources) ...but all my documents have a onedrive account storage. So, if I have to, I can pull anything I want off of the cloud. But my photos...the personal ones I take with my phone...those all get uploaded into Google Photos for storage (cause phones don't last forever) ...and when I get home, whatever I need that came from my phone, get's downloaded from Google photos to my PC.  Mine is rather complex system. Yours probably doesnt' need to be that complex. I recommend a cloud solution to complement your device(s). If you have an Apple/mac/ios device, use iCloud, if you have an Android phone, you may prefer Google Drive, If you have an Android phone and a Windows PC, it's a tossup. I use onedrive because I have an Office 365 subscription, so 1Tb of cloud storage on onedrive comes with it for no additional cost...and I use it up. But I find that Google drive works better with the Android phone...so the photos go to Google Photos (which uses space on google drive actually, along with gmail)  And if you have a desktop or laptop computer, I recommend backing up on a regular basis with Acronis True Image, or some other reputable backup software. When you syc to the cloud, anything that was there previously with the same name gets over-written, so you lose back copies of stuff, which sometimes you need. (sometimes you even need it 5 minutes after you saved it, but that sync to the cloud stuff works very fast, and often you can lose it there also. Also, if you turn off sync for a while to save resources, and then turn it back on, sometimes it can download older stuff to your PC and over-write the newer stuff...it happens. So backups are always necessary, no matter what way you go. I've seen people try to use the cloud INSTEAD of backing up...which I don't recommend. It's not an adequate solution.  If you are not in the habit of organizing, it can take a while, and a lot of patience to re-structure things. But if you need help, there are people who can help with stuff like that. :-)
