About Us

Our goal is to cut through all of the marketing and selling to present factual, timely and relevant information for our clients. Ultimately, our loyalty is with our client, we refuse to work on behalf of the insurance companies. We have found that placing client needs above all else results in happy clients and overwhelming referrals. We are not afraid to tell a client they are in a great position and to stay there. It is possible to run a very successful company without looking at every client as a number and a "sale". We are candid and open, and avoid the selling mentality. Too many companies are selling and leaving the customer behind.

How We Got Started

I started this business in California and worked in the Long Term Care Insurance business representing a brokerage in Brentwood TN. My passion for serving the "greatest generation" has grown from the Deserts and Beaches of California to the Gulf Coast and beyond. I moved my company to the Florida Market and have expanded our company and our philosophy over the years. We are opening a second office in the Nashville TN market to be in the middle of the country and carrying our message of being a servant first, and impartially representing over 200 insurance companies and products. We are adding additional financial tools in order to assist clients in navigating the maze insurance companies have created to virtually confuse customers and seemingly create chaos. We have always looked at ways for clients to "beat" the system and take advantage of tax & income opportunities in navigating these waters. Insurance companies are large, cumbersome and un-caring, we are not.

(more) Generally Banks (SBA) included will not lend on a start up without substantial collateral. Beware of "hard money lenders" looking for assets. Within our financial practice we aid and assist clients buying and selling businesses. Typically those willing to sell you money are looking for assets they can attach or property they can lien. Always be careful with these types of folks. Others will attempt to lend you money on credit card financing at interest rates that are in the 20% + range.  Without substantial time in business along with a business track record it is very difficult to get a loan on working capital.  You would need to have several years of tax records, consistent business income and a proven track record of profitability.  We structure sales and mergers of businesses and people assume they can run out to a bank and borrow the money to buy a business, unfortunately, unless you have something the lender can take if you fail there is not much to lend on.  Many business people who "fall into" a business either with luck, something left to them, or starting as a hobby rarely run the business like a business and more like a cash register. Failing to properly structure the business i.e. C Corp, S Corp, LLC etc and take payroll as opposed to just taking money out of the register.  Payroll is an indicator of an actual business and then you can value the business based on owner interest and income. Hope that helps.
