How We Got Started
I retired in 2000 from 31 years in the wholesale distribution business and within 2 weeks, I discovered Renewable Energy by listening to a friend who told me how a solar panel could charge a battery and use the stored power to generate electricity for his cabin. The more he told me, the more confused I became but then I realized that I got involved in other specialty businesses over the years and at the end of the day, I somehow mastered them. I then traveled to a Renewable Energy conference & Exhibition that I found out about and I have never looked back since then. This industry is so interesting and it is the biggest & fastest growing industry in the world today. More jobs globally in Renewable Energy than in the entire global oil & gas industry. Every year since I started, the industry has grown out of comparison globally and is still growing with no end in sight. The benefits are beyond comprehension and 100% environmentally friendly to boot.

Our Renewable Energy business has grown substantially since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic. Finding qualified people willing to work is somewhat of a challenge. It's hard to believe how well sales are going. The Renewable Energy Industry here in Newfoundland & Labrador, Canada could be a major factor in rebuilding our failing economy but unfortunately this province of Canada is the only place in the world that I know of that has never allowed this amazing industry to get off the ground over the last 18 years. We have a wind resource that is 200-300% better that any other location on the globe, meaning that our costs to develop wind generated energy could be 200-300% less than other locations in the world. Another key way to describe the wind energy potential here in Newfoundland & Labrador is "Monolithic" & "Dispatchable".

In our Renewable Energy business where we supply, design & install wind & Solar power systems, I find that maybe 60% of the sales are going to on line purchases and in most of these cases the client is buying something that he likely knows very little about and in most of these cases the client is disappointed and doesn't want to admit it to themselves. Then when they try to call the supplier, thats when they find out there is little or no support and likely a language barrier. Recently a new client visited me with a box of burnt and destroyed plastic & metal, his off grid home almost burnt down because he bought a solar controller that he couldn't say no to ($25.00USD), wow what a deal. I am glad to see that the couple managed to get out alive. Big Box Stores are also a poor choice when it comes to purchasing components when the employees no nothing about what they are selling. It's free for clients to come by or call our location to discuss what they need and make the final decision using quality materials and advice. There's no cost or commitment to ask the expert rather than finding our the hard way. This will help grow the economy and your supplier is close by if you need advise without any language barrier. Unfortunately, IN NEWFOUNDLAND & LABRADOR we have also been stricken with an Anti-Renewable Energy Industry Virus (AREIV) since Nov. 24, 2003. The AREIV shut down virus has caused more damage to our economy than any other virus could ever do and there is no cure for it other than a complete transfusion of Government Leadership to rid the province of the Corruption and Collusion that has been running rampant for too long (2003) without any sign of a cure. Our health care system is operating at a very low rate of efficiency and many people are dying every day due to the lack of timely diagnostics and required surgeries. This is a form of Criminal Negligence. They say they can’t afford more doctors and other methods of fixing the problem. Yet the Muskrat Falls Plague bank account is being pumped full of money every day without any concern for the Major Essential Services.
