How We Got Started

BowlingQuest was started in 2013 as a tool to aid tournament bowlers locate adult bowling tournaments. It was born out of need. Many bowlers, especially, retirees, travel and bowl, thus needing up to date information on facilities and tournaments. BowlingQuest has developed the largest and most accurate bowling alley database around AND the best tournament listings. In addition, we started accepting information on bowling past - extinct facilities, stories about people, places, and things, hardware, software. The only database of its kind. We accept pictures, stories, and "other" stuff about bowling. We also have the Bowling 50 club for people who have or are aspiring to bowl all 50 states. Presently growing is our Canadian listings.

Does your company currently have a drug testing program in place that ensures the safety of your work force?

No.  But gotta say that I do support testing for certain jobs.  Marijuana being a special issue, that maybe needs to be reclassified.  Testing for harder drugs is more difficult and more expensive. Most of the outside work for this company is done by contractors whose pay is based on product or... Most of the outside work for this company is done by contractors whose pay is based on product or service received.  The nature of the work itself does not require such.  One of the plus factors with an on-line-only business is that, in this case, there is no physical workplace, per se. I  did IT work for 25+ years, for small to Fortune 100 companies, and never had to submit to a drug test.  There were several instances of having to fire individuals who didn't produce though, and its possible some of the performance issues might have been drug related.  I might add, none of the suspected drugs was marijuana.

I almost never post.  The focus of my business is to gather information from social media, as well as other sources.  There is little need to post.  All contact is made through direct messaging and/or email. And yes, social media is one of THE best ways to promote a business.
