Not only are they experts in technology, but they are experts in client care and service. After spending 37 years dealing with various IT and computer support firms, I can attest to the fact that many speak a language that the average person doesn't understand and also operate on their own schedule and priorities. Not AMS. In each case I've dealt with them or referred someone to AMS, they take great to understand the issue and communicate effectively and in a timely manner. My highest recommendation for AMS Technology!"

Great support, modern software and fast servers. I still have a lot of stuff with Godaddy but got disillusioned with them last year when they were trying to do a PHP7 and SQL upgrades and a few of my clients were constantly going down. Siteground has great uptime as well. Hands down - siteground.

Simply put, even though we are a digital marketing company, business is still conducted human to human in most local cases. Of course, I recommend the digital tools too, if done right, but don't underestimate the power of networking groups, chambers (in some cases) or specialty associations, like Property Management or even non-obvious ones like your local automotive service association. We've have great success networking there as well. Personal contact creates trust and that creates business and referrals.

(more) As someone who teaches this and does it for a living, the absolute most critical thing is to never get into an online debate. Never, ever respond defensively even if they are wrong. Why? Because all responses to reviews are NOT for the person who reviewed you - all review responses are for the rest of the world that is watching to see how you handle negative reviews. The most important thing about a review is what it says about your personality and how you handle difficult situations and unhappy customers. The other critical thing is to get the conversation with the reviewer to transition from the web to a personal contact. As an example of how I coach my clients to respond to negative or deceptive reviews, something like "I read your review and am sorry you feel you had a negative experience. I've built my company on the principle of giving more than I get and treating everyone as my most important customer, which is why we have so many 5 star reviews. I'd very much appreciate the opportunity to speak with you about this at your earliest convenience. Thanks in advance for the chance to discuss this further. I can be reached at xxx-xxx-xxxx" Something like that. You appear reasonable, calm and concerned to the rest of the world. That's all that matters. The reviewer almost never responds. And you win. Having all 5 star reviews is not good anyway. No one believes that. Best regards, Dave Parkhurst GreenhavenInteractive.com
