Are you sure that's what you want? Because even though at first glance, it seems to be a decent "looking" site...it has issues...Just please remember you asked, and don't take it to heart. I doubt you expected this:
No 1. Oon the "headpieces dresses" page, there is an image for each item, then a "SEE more" link...of which I expect to SEE something more, but it takes me to a contact page. (same thing with any page that has images with the 'see more' link) 2. The bridesmaids dresses have color choices, which don't work 3. Contact Us page has a captcha on the form, I hate those things! They aren't necessary with a proper spam plugin. (Do the work on the server, don't make the visitor do the work) Also, you have email addresses on the contact page. The whole point of the form is to make the email unnecessary...because bots patrol the web gathering email addresses as they go along. I'm not complaining about that of course, but don't you get a lot of spam in there? My rule of thumb is NO EMAIL ADDRESSES ON WEBSITES. :-) 4. You should have a separate form for those who "ONLY" want newsletters...email address/submit. And that's it. 5. in the "collections" the dresses have sizes, which display as hyperlinks, but aren't clickable. Get rid of the hyperlinks if there isn't an actual purpose for one. (You can't actually order anything, all you can do is book an appointment) ...and you should have the actual sizes that are available, rather than just listing every size, and having people call in for availability? It shows you aren't willing to put the time in to your site, but yet you expect people to stay there? And that brings me to 6. If it's a store, I want to be able to order. I NEVER want to call in. Even if I want jewelry I need to call in and make an appointment? Or are the pieces only available with a whole package...if that's the case, then say so, I don't want to 'wonder'. 7. you have a menu item ACCESSORIES, which is an actual page, but an empty page. Rather than having an empty page, just make the parent menu item not clickable, and only make the children menu items clickable hyperlinks. Never link to an empty page. Then, on the menu tree you have ACCESSORIES (empty page) > JEWELRY (not clickable)> but then you have ALL JEWELRY which seems to be ALL Jim Ball Designs, but then another sub-item called Jim Ball Designs (?????) I don't understand what's going on here. 8. Shoes : Why have a color item on shoes, when there is ONLY a single color? Makes no sense. I could go on, but what's the point. It's like you built a store site, and threw up a whole bunch of images, ...and quit. Tons of work left to do on this site to make it a professional store. Now I'm not an idiot, I know that wedding dresses are typically custom fit and often custom sewn. But you should probably allude to the process, and what kind of service specifically is offered, somewhere on there. In fact, I would make that a selling point. But again...thrown together. oh, how about this one: 9. RETURN POLICY: "
The Mary's does not accept any returns or exchanges for any online orders." LOL...WHAT online orders????? (if it wasn't sad, it would be funny) Don't put a return policy, if there is no policy there. 10. PRIVACY POLICY: "
From time to time we establish business relationships with other persons or entities whom we believe trustworthy. Your customer information is sometimes shared with such carefully selected partners (e.g. Facebook, etc.)" HUH? FACEBOOK? REALLY? I don't THINK so!!! If you are sharing my personal information with FACEBOOK, I don't want ANYTHING to do with your site! There is so much wrong with this page, I could write a whole page on this page alone. It doesn't meet legal requirements to begin with. "you can choose not to provide information" ...really? What about cookies, Google analytics, Google Tag manager, etc. All your statements on this page are generic thrown together meaningless statements. The purpose of the law, is you have to provide SPECIFIC information about what you collect, what you keep, how long you keep it (as long as it is necessary just won't cut it here), how it's stored, etc. You should just delete this page if you aren't going to do it right.
There is probably more, but it's 11PM and I can't keep my eyes open. ...and I think you get the idea. Sorry.
I think it is beautiful and very well made.
Beautifully designed and great photos.
