Georgian Bay Granola Company is a family-run Canadian business founded in Parry Sound Ontario. Inspired by a passion for delicious, healthy, organic foods, our granolas are oven baked using natural and organic ingredients. Our granolas are gently sweetened with pure organic Canadian maple syrup, organic Canadian wildflower honey, or organic coconut nectar. No sugar, no salt, no soy, no dairy, no preservatives. Just pure, natural, organic ingredients.

Sheila began making granola in the early 1970s for her growing family. Convinced she could make more nutritious and delicious granola than those available in stores, Sheila created recipes with wholesome, pure ingredients and served her granola to delighted family and friends. Before long she was encouraged to go professional.

In 2012 Sheila began selling her granolas in local outdoor markets in Northern Ontario. She had many return customers who loved her granolas. On one of the market days however it began to rain, and not wanting to ruin her products, Sheila put the granola in the back of her station wagon and took it to stores in Parry Sound. She had to guarantee the sales but several stores took a chance on her products. In no time the stores were sold out and asking for more! Sheila went on to offer her granolas to other stores as well. The rest, as they say, is history. Georgian Bay Granola Company was born! GBGC is now sold in over 300 stores across Ontario.
