How We Got Started

After 25 years in the mail services industry and working closely with the USPS, I decided to look into the shipping segment. The USPS started to focus more heavily in that segment due to its' inherent advantages. No company visits every U.S. address every day like the postal service does. When the USPS began its' authorized re-seller program I shifted my focus to shipping and formed RJL Associates LLC in 2009. Growth has been substantial especially with online retailers and fulfillment companies that are always looking to ship their packages as efficiently as possible in a cost effective way.

I applied on Apri 6th. Two days after my bank was able to accept applications. I received a notification that my application was accepted and being reviewed, almost immediately. Then heard nothing again until April 14 when I was contacted by two bankers asking for information that was already in... (more) I applied on Apri 6th. Two days after my bank was able to accept applications. I received a notification that my application was accepted and being reviewed, almost immediately. Then heard nothing again until April 14 when I was contacted by two bankers asking for information that was already in my original application. I re sent that information to them immediately and again heard nothing. Then I saw on the news two days later that funds for the program were exhausted. I e-mailed my banker asking for status and heard nothing back. I will call again Monday morning to make sure that I don’t lose my place in line when the program is re-funded.  Very poor communications and confusion among my bankers! Not much I can do other than push some more!

Should cell phones be turned off during meetings?

Yes...It is insulting to be in a meeting that is interrupted with a cell phone call. OK to have it on but if you get a call that you need to take, apologize, excuse yourself and leave the room.  (more) Yes...It is insulting to be in a meeting that is interrupted with a cell phone call.
