A common mistake first time home buyers will make is making an emotional decision based on the bling in the house. A little sweat equity goes a long way. Buy low, do the work and increase the value that way. Being house poor is not a good place to be.  (more) A common mistake first time home buyers will make is making an emotional decision based on the bling in the house. The most fulfilling part of being a Realtor is watching the reaction of my clients when they walk into a house and know it's the right place to call home. I can tell when people are attempting to make a house work. I let them know we need to look at additional houses to find their home. Here's what I look for:  A photographer that takes the time to suggest the Realtor move items in the house for better presentation, i.e. items on counter tops, items on refrigerators, throw rugs, clutter. Attention to detail regarding door jambs not being in the photo, lighting, angles, etc. (more) Here's what I look for:  A photographer that takes the time to suggest the Realtor move items in the house for better presentation, i.e. items on counter tops, items on refrigerators, throw rugs, clutter. I recognize my clients by calling them every few months to ask about the home they purchased. I also call to wish my clients a happy birthday. (more) I recognize my clients by calling them every few months to ask about the home they purchased. I also call to wish my clients a happy birthday.

My best transaction was helping a young first time home buyer who wanted to pay cash for a home under $75,000. We looked at many, many homes to find a good one. I was able to come up with a Fannie Mae house for $53,000 that needed only a small amount of work.  (more) My best transaction was helping a young first time home buyer who wanted to pay cash for a home under $75,000. My clients come back to me and refer people to me because I treat them and the purchase or sale of their home with honor and integrity. I am very conscientious to find them the best home available while staying at or under their budget.
