More than 50% of consumers are on their social media accounts. Right now Facebook is cost effective so utilize it now while it still is. Now is the time to use all online media which the cost is low. It is only going to go up. Take the opportunity while you can. Starting price? Whatever you can afford. You can start out small and grow it from there. The key is targeting it well. If they do this, you will never be able to change their ways or mind. It is what it is. Find a business who truly believes and trust what you say. They are out there. They hired you for a reason, so they should let you do your job.

And if you think the older generation is not using it you are wrong. Over 70% of this number are 50-64. 88% are the younger demo. Depending on your age demographic you would target each platform a little different. It also depends on your product on which platform you should use more than the other. Example: If you are selling young women's clothing you would push it on Instagram a little more than Facebook. IF you have an e-commerce site, then Facebook should be the majority, followed by Instagram. If you are selling to an older demographic then Facebook would also be the choice. Again remember your copy and images will be totally different depending on the age you are targeting. Younger audience needs shorter copy for example. They don't have the attention span as older people do. I love targeting older demographic on Facebook because they scroll slowly and read every word. lol. You will have to spend money on these platforms in order for them to work. You need to target correctly and spend some time with it. It can be very profitable if done correctly. A guy you can look at and follow is Gary Vanyerchuk. You also get all the analytics with these platforms. You cannot get this with TV, Print or Radio. Not saying these don't work, they do, but you need to be on social media for sure. Hope this helps!

If not new, it could just be that the competition is higher than before and you may have to do some additional SEO or even SEM to help it. Help your SEO by adding as many links as you can such as facebook, linkedin, blogs, videos on youtube, articles, etc. The more you have will increase your SEO. More and more clients are having to do this due to the competition. More and more are advertising online now than a year ago. Also Google changes the way they list and rate the sites all the time.
