Diadora
An Italian sportswear brand offering premium running and lifestyle footwear and apparel.
Diadora is a leading Italian sports brand founded in 1948 by Marcello Danielli, who began to handcraft mountain boots and work boots. Throughout the 1950s, Diadora’s popularity and reputation increased due to our high end quality and performance. During the 1960s, we started to break into the sports world targeting skiing, which was growing as a recreational activity. In the 1970s, we once again ventured into the sports by producing running shoes, and shortly after tennis and socccer. During the 70s and 80s Diadora had sponsored elite athletes such as Gelindo Bordin, Edwin Moses, Roberta Bottega, Marco Van Basten, Roberto Baggio, Bjorn Borg and George Weah. In more recent years, we have relaunched our new North American Headquarters in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania with the focus on producing premium running footwear and apparel.
