I converge images of nature, people and architecture. Overlaying, splicing, combining and adapting images portray my vision and some are accomplished through graphic manipulation. The dreamlike depictions of my work portray imagery of forests that mirror, melt and swirl together limbs, trunks and earth. I use skin as a poetic veil to expose trees and flora, depicting my reflection of the human connection to the natural world. I'm a mother of a 20-year-old, an art photographer, designer, writer, graphic artist and the director and owner of Indigo Nature Arts/Moon and Thunder Creative Wellness. I've been portraying nature through diverse methods of art for over thirty-five years. Art/nature photography is my first love and remains a steady expression of my connection to the natural world. Spending time planting gardens, sharing her love for nature, photography and the arts with children, and enjoying time with my almost twenty-year-old daughter are some of my joys.
