About Us

As an artist, my paintings reflect the world around me expressed by the world within me. I paint many subjects including landscapes, flowers, figures and abstractions. I am also a writer and have four published books and part of a monograph I wrote about the painter Joseph Raffael. I am a public speaker, a lecturer not only about art but i also love story telling. I have taught workshops on painting all over the United States since the late eighties and also in Canada and Mexico. I am available for commissions, lecturing, workshops and other creative outlets.

I have learned that if you keep going when you are blocked or have had a life changing adversity, you will get through it.  "Faith steps in seeming void and finds the rock beneath."  from the book Streams in the Desert."  A small change in how you approach something may be the key to your release. (more) I learned the hard way that the only way to handle sales in which customers cannot pay the entire amount is to not give them the painting till they have paid up.  I had a situation in which a restauranteur bought fourteen of my paintings and wanted to pay monthly.  Fortunately, I had an attorney boyfriend and he wrote up a contract in which the man would not own any of the paintings until he had paid for all.  So when he stopped paying, I bombarded him with phone calls, etc.  He threatened me and I wouldn't let him intimidate  me.  Finally, he paid me.  I would say, for a company in which they have not paid for that long, get an attorney.
