Many corporate companies will hire Business Coaches, they can be a useful tool in adding a unbiased party to negotiations or to review ideas for moving forward with a company, and many other areas of business that can really bring outside insight into a company that is stagnated. I have been very fortunate to work with some of these marvelous Coaches, but know little more than that. However, as a relationship coach I can identify with the over all concept of business coaching and that is to give owners, CEO's, upper management, etc insight into potential. Coaching in any form is "just wisdom wrapped up in a little ball of charisma".

My ideal client?... Anyone who feels that they need to build strength in one or more aspects of their life. I'm a therapist without the restrictions. If you are screwing up, I'm gonna tell you. As a therapist, I was not really able to do that. LIfe coaching is like therapy from a friend.
I am a clinically trained psychologist, and I have had a therapist business. I still follow APA guidelines and HIPAA. All sessions are confidential. I chose to not practices in a clinical sense.
Anyway, nice to meet you all, and I hop[e to see you around.

Yes. Yes. They do. With time the love you have for your partner changes. When you meet and begin the relationship you are "falling" in love. You do not yet love them how you will. When you are preparing to marry or just married you are celebrating you love. You have already fallen. Then, unexpectedly, you realize that you are content in love. You have reached a point where romance is minimal and you can go a day or a week without physically expressing that love. You look at your partner differently. You feel differently about them. You are comfortable. If you let it go, let it linger in that limbo of contentment, then you will look up one day and realize that you do not love them in a way that is anywhere like it once was. You love them like you love your family, because that is who they are.
A relationship is the hardest, longest job you will ever have. It is a job with miracle valued rewards; like children and security. It is the toughest job, because it is one you should never stop working.
Think back to the moment that you realized you loved you partner. That you could trust them, not with your life, but with your heart. The moment that you felt absolute astonishment that this person could have worked their way into your heart so much that you could not see a before them or a time after them. Like they had been there for your entire life. When you remember that, then think about what they did in that moment that made you feel that way. Think of all the moments that lead up to it. When you have all of that, then redo it. Fall in love again.
Relationships last because of communication and work. You have to remember that you did not fall in love without work, and you wont stay in love without work. Romance takes time. A relationship takes time and communication. Your life is not just your career and children, it is a accumulation of all that you have. Including, your own self and your relationship with your partner.
Take time to work on the partnership.

As the saying goes, "been there done that". I've worked in facilities and contract for facilities that I've taken insurance thru. I am certified and still practice as if Iwork under that compass. I chose to leave that format of my own volition due to the constant fluctuation and almost combative tactics insurance companies use to stall or reduce the amount of payment. Just watching the phone calls made me cringe.
I don't like to use big medical terms. I don't like to diagnose. I prefer to use notes that are personable and compassionate. That reflect the person, not the number. Once it's written down its permit. I'll give you an example. Many people when going through drug addiction detox and treatment are given a label of depression and/or anxiety. At times, they're even given labels as schizophrenic, sociopath, etc etc. Those same clients after months/years of sobriety, treatment, and therapy (if re-evaluated) would not have that same diagnosis. Most models that I've ever studied, or been introduced to, have stated not to diagnosed with less than 6 months sobriety. Yet insurances require that same inaccurate practice diagnosis in order to be billed. Once a client is diagnosed schizophrenic then they are forever schizophrenic. Should this be the case? If a client has a psychotic episode while on a hallucinogenic or mind altering substance does that make them psychotic? Flakka is known to cause psychotic episodes. That's not a determining factor in diagnosis. That's not the person in many situations, that's the drug.
Misdiagnosis does happen, but to have that completely taken out of medical records is almost impossible. It's costly and time consuming. Unfortunately, many professionals do not have the time nor the integrity to actually review the records fully. Missing that diagnosis took place the first 24 to 48 hours after being admitted for treatment. I don't like labels. I don't like putting somebody in a pile because of one situation. It's too easily done, it's to often demanded, and it conflicts with my personal ethics and morals. There is always huge debate about this on going situation among professionals. I don't advertise myself as certified or licensed. I state very plainly that I don't take insurances. But I do point out that I am clinically trained. That I have experience in the clinical field. I even state that I will refer clients out of my office to practicing professionals that do treats mental health disorders and take insurance . We never know where life is going to take us. And maybe one day Florida will demand certification for life coaching. But until then... I'll go on following my ethics and morals.
As a life coach, I speak with experience. As a clinical psychologist, sex therapist, I speak with expertise, I'm an authority. I have the work history to prove it. I have the education to explain it. I have the life experience to understand, and the empathy to just know. I pride myself on...

I'll actually locate, verify, and make the first appointment to ensure the person who came to me, gets the correct help.

As many have said already... great question. I hazard to question how many have asked themselves that exact question. I would love to say that I do this for some selfless reason but the truth is that I do this to heal. I am a trained psychologist. But 15 years ago I was lost. I was lost for a long time. I started to find myself. Through all the drama of the world, I started to have clarity. Ten years ago this year, I faced death. I can't say I beat death, but I can say it didn't win. Something fought for me. Something saved me. I had true clarity of self after that. I do this because if there is one person that is able to take guidance from someone who has experienced so much, then I would find peace within. If I can help to heal someone or to enlighten them, then I have peace. I know what my purpose is. I try my best to meet those expectations daily with each seminar, with each radio call, with each empowerment presentation and coaching session. If I am too help the cashier on one day and the vice president the next, then I am at peace. I am at peace.
So, though I would love to say it is a selfless reason.... it's not. It's too find my rest here on earth. To remain at peace.

Fail. With each choice we make we have that ability to learn. Whether we succeed or we do not. Taking a negative situation and making it positive is something that we should all attempt to do. Grab a hold of a weakness and make it your strongest asset. Use your failures as learning lessons to move towards success. I may not be Tony Robbins of coaching but I've made that big of an influence on people. How? By listening and offering alternate perspectives to the same situation. Giving them options. Why do that? Because if one format that you use does not work, then use another. Failure is wisdom, we're just blind most of the time to seeing the positive of it.

I love seeing the enlightenment come onto the faces of the group participants. When something that I have been sharing with them finally reaches them and they have understanding. When at the end and I am shaking hands that one individual that had shown no emotion throughout the entire event and they are full of emotion. When I receive a thank you for doing nothing but sharing truth; though it hurt them to hear it. The moment when inspiration and enthusiasm hits them and they want to share what they have just heard. .
