Google Ad Words are a waste of money. Stop paying and you are gone. Think about it. Do you click on Ad Words links that are on top of the page or are on the sidebar? I don't and most of the people I know don't either. Most people know that those ad words are there because people paid for them....

Kevin, I would say it is up to your client/prospect where they want to meet. I always tell them that "I make house calls" But, let them choose. It is not about 'what your prefer'

Personally network meetings are a waste of time. I've attended several over the years and there is one underlying theme to all of them: Every one is trying to sell their product or service. I'm a web designer and I never got one piece of new business. Did a lot of free stuff, but nothing ever...

I'm a web designer and I never got one piece of new business. Did a lot of free stuff, but nothing ever materialized. I think that one is better to get on the phone and call or email prospects. You get better results

If you you have to scroll, pinch, zoom and squeeze to see the website on a mobile device than the website it is not mobile responsive. If the telephone number is not 'clickable' then it is not mobile responsive. Why is having a mobile responsive website so important? Because more people look at the website from their mobile device than their laptop or desktop computer. If it is not mobile responsive they are moving on to a competitor.
The second thing I look for is the website a static site with no new content on daily basis. Website with new content feeds are deemed more valuable by Google and will move up in the search engine rankings

The third thing I look forward is do they have videos?
By 2017, video will account for 69% of all consumer internet traffic, according to Cisco. Video-on-demand traffic alone will have almost trebled.
