Avoid Mondays, Fridays, and lunch UNLESS the propsect suggests these times.   If you don't connect with the prospect, alllow ten days between first and second contact. If they want you sooner, they will contact you. But at teh end of your first contact suggest that you will follow up in ten days. This puts you in legitmate position to contact them, they know 10 days they will her from you, and it demonstrates how throrough you are to actually follow up. Three cold contacts to unresponsive prospects -- max.
