Realty Counseling Co. Inc. is a licensed Real Estate Broker in Pennsylvania focusing on Brokering; providing Property Management and Leasing services; and Counseling Services for small residential and commercial property Owners.
After working for two private equity real estate companies (one national the other local,) our Company was founded November 1, 1978 as James L. Sproat Real Estate Co. with offices in the Investment Building. Subsequently the Company took on the Trade name Realty Counseling Co. After 5 years of brokering and leasing in Downtown, the Company moved in March 1983 to The South Side area of the City of Pittsburgh. Helping the early redevelopment of the South Side neighborhood, the Company added residential home sales brokerage. The Company incorporated in December 1989 as Realty Counseling Co., Inc., and now has been in business 42 years.
