I worked as the editor in chief of a small magazine, and so I have lots of experience editing other writers, but I often had to edit myself. Now that I am a free-lance writer, I find editors make very few changes in my self-edited work, but when they do, I usually appreciate it! I also am now working as an editor for several writers who have great knowledge of their subject matter but really need help with content and line editing. I am pleased to be able to make their content more concise and cohesive while retaining their voices.
