Do you really increase your income by giving discounts to your customers?

I don't give discounts for services. I used to give discounts for the purchase of massage packages but I found that I was having difficulty being able to accurately estimate my income; I always had a short-fall in income. I now offer packages that include full price massage sessions and free products that I give to clients to use at home between sessions. I've made more money since switching to this type of program and my clients are getting more engaged with their self-care between visits. It's been a win-win for me.
