Not being able to itemize for clients.  Takes away some of our value to a lot of clients.  I'm hope for some future "above the line deductions" since their really isn't anymore useful tax benefits for home ownership...charitable deductions...etc.  (more) Not being able to itemize for clients.  Takes away some of our value to a lot of clients.  I'm hope for some future "above the line deductions" since their really isn't anymore useful tax benefits for home ownership...charitable deductions...etc.

Go to Small Claims Court. Sue for the full 5k. Once a judgement is placed on the freeloader you will get your money...eventually. Don't let him get away with it. Being nice all the time can hurt you when others take advantage. (more) Go to Small Claims Court. Sue for the full 5k. They will have to be or the US will go BK.  I think there should be a new tax bracket of 75% for taxable income over 5 million a year. It would cut out greed, and would spread the wealth to normal wage earners, and possibly reduce prices for goods and services. Such as a pro athlete may not be too upset about not making 20 mill a year and may choose to pass the income as savings to the consumers with reduced ticket prices, etc.

Taxact for pros is the best. Inexpensive. Then from there they can help you sign up with Republic Bank. Taxact software has everything you need. Get a square acct to take credit card payments. Get Square credit card reader. Make it easier for clients to pay. You can send them a Square bill by email, and they can pay it directly. They like it to accumulate CC rewards. May cost you a little bit, but worth the savings in aggravations. (more) Get Square credit card reader. Make it easier for clients to pay. Easiest formation is the single-member LLC. If you start netting over 40k then request to be taxed as an S-corp.
