Even then you face competition from companies who offer graphic design services via the internet and to a global audience and what they might charge for their service. Ultimately you just need to find a price for your service that makes your business profitable and doesn't price you out of your local market. PS: Every graphic designer says their service is quality. In fact all business claim their service or product is quality regardless of whether it really is or no. Therefore using the word is rather pointless.

Yes you should because your competition will have a website and so if you don't your competition already has a leg up on you. So many people research products and services online now that if you aren't online, are you really in business? You have no logo. In the second row, some of the white text blends into the background and is difficult to see. Why is the background image so blurred, would look better as a high res image. Next row the text is very small. Not good for vision impaired. You site should be accessible. Row with bottles, text in 1st column not aligned properly and different font size. Make it consistent. The next row with the word LifeVantage is terrible. Graphics are blurred, text fades into white box. Red text needs to be bolded. You have also gone from selling a product to trying to induce people to become product salesman. Now I am smelling pyramid scheme. Next row, some text too small. Also the bacl text needs to be bolded, its a little difficult to read against the blue background. Alignment seems messed up. Now further down you are marketing leads. This website seems confused as it is a jumble of get rich quick schemes and poorly done. You should have hired a professional web designer to build this site, at least he could have made the obvious get rich quick schemes here look professional instead of an amateur kicking at this can. This site looks like someone with little to no money trying to convince people that this is a money making opportunity even though the quality of the website tells us the owner isn't making any money.

I also attend various conferences across Canada “virtually”, no need for a physical presence.

Would never work for me. Most people who would need your 1 through 5 probably would never make it in the business world anyway. The only one I am ok with is #1, the rest is ridiculous.

SEO is a lot like cold calling, you put your site out there with high rankings and hope you get some calls. However if you are a good networker, then no, SEO isn't imperative. If you join your local chamber or board of trade and have good networking skills, you will generate far more business from that then SEO. Also a secondary referral market is your own clients. If you treat them well and provide great service, they will recommend and refer you out to others. So my answer is if your are a good networker and become a member with the right organizations, then that will be your business bread and butter. SEO is a nice back-up to to good networker, but never imperative.
