How We Got Started
After 25 years of Residential Construction in Long Island, HOMEREDI Brand was created to address the needs of New Home Buyers in the North Shore of Long Island and to be the single touch point for all their Home Improvements, Renovation & Home Preparation needs. We are also very active in acquiring build-able lots and constructing very high end residential properties in Port Washington, Sands Point, Flower Hill, Manhasset and surrounding neighborhoods.

But overall the survey shows a Macro level of optimism for the larger region which is very welcoming. As a Residential Builder & General Contractor servicing the North Shore of Nassau County, we are seeing a tremendous level of increased inquiries resulting on follow up meeting, proposals with a healthy rate of contract execution for our Remodeling business. We are very excited about Q3 & Q4 2020 and strongly believe that 2021 will be a stellar year for Contractors in general.

Hope all is well with everyone. We applied online through Chase CARES ACT Portal on April 10, 2020. Other than the online submission confirmation we have not as of yet received any other type of correspondence or acknowledgement. We have currently stopped all of our remodeling projects that were active by mid March till We reach a point where we feel confident that we can resume onsite activities once again, we are currently using our down time to review and improve our internal processes as well as Publushing our Covid-19 return to work and job site protocol. We have halted all types of work till further notice and currently working on drafting our Covid-19 job site protocol for when we begin to get back to work.

Every contractor is faced with this dilemma, How to break the bad news to the client without making it sound like a biblical size tragedy. We always use a three pronged approach which has proved to be a useful approach. First and foremost before we start any renovation project, we have a "Come to Jesus meeting" with our clients letting them know that unknown issues will always come up that are beyond our control and would fall under the pre-existing conditions, so they should be prepared for that but at the same time we reassure them that we will present them with more than one solution for their consideration and finally when such issues are identified, their interest will always be our top priority and that they could never be in better hands than ours to remedy the problem as efficiently and as economically as possible.

It all boils down to a simple rule. As a service provider, the first and foremost important element is to be a Customer Advocate. Because it is simply about their needs before its about you own need. "Listen with both Ears" what your clients are telling you and what their objectives, needs and wants are. Once you have that in front and center then it is your job to bring your years of experience in to the mix and implement the project successfully to the best of your ability. Once you have brought your client's vision into reality then you have made memories and you will always be remembered when they enjoy the space you have created for them. IMHO, It all peculates to a positive Testimonial from a clients that you have impressed.
