Absolutely. Inbound marketing and telemarketing will take a business connection only so far. Getting to know someone is easier than all the other methods when you are face-to-face. Gatekeepers are paid to screen out sales calls.  Have you tried Fed Ex-ing a letter or sample?  Try an email with better subject lines, such as "confirming our conversation" (if you have had a conversation), and advertisements that encourage responses.  I have gone as far as to send an... The feel, felt, found method can also have merit.

Your best, fastest way is to call the prospects one by one after you have established a presence online. Prospects will want to research your company and determine if there is enough value in it for them or stick with the status quo. Price is not the most important reason for prospects to switch... Prospects will want to research your company and determine if there is enough value in it for them or stick with the status quo. Price is not the most important reason for prospects to switch providers of what you sell; they seek value. It takes time and persistence. But even in this inbound marketing age, the phone is still the best and fastest way to get the ball rolling. You just need to make sure you have more than enough value to the prospective customer.
