Brenda Ray Scott, CFRE brings savvy and expertise along with execution to strategically building and diversifying fundraising in her roles as Development leadership roles, her work as Principal with Adept Diva Consulting, and in volunteer leadership roles. As a seasoned organization leader and fundraising professional, consultant, speaker, and a board member, Brenda has raised millions of dollars through consulting and staff roles.

As staff expert, she focuses on learning organizational culture and fundraising systems. She seeks to assess needs and opportunities in fundraising (and beyond) and creating and implementing comprehensive fundraising that can move an organization forward. As a speaker, Brenda has taught fundraising in a variety of settings from local to national conferences and as a part of the faculty for the Association of Fundraising Professionals Oregon and SW Washington chapter's Fundamentals of Fundraising and Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) review course. Brenda currently serves as the Education Chair for AFP Oregon and Southwest Washington. She is an active member of BNI Portland Online Connect Chapter. As a do gooder, she currently serves on a number of boards including the Portland Rose Festival Foundation.
