HONESTY, INTEGRITY, STRATEGY
I believe a realtor's value is directly correlated to these three characteristics.

Honesty - An absolute must in my practice, and the real estate industry as a whole. Dishonesty is a detriment and liability to both a realtor and their client. If I believe that I am not the best option to help you buy or sell a property, I will tell you. If I think it makes sense to wait to list your home, I will tell you. My customer's and client's best interest is always top priority. Short term gains do not outweigh the long term pains that are inevitable from dishonest practice.

Integrity - When I say I will do something, I do it. This is one of the reasons that I don't push clients off onto assistants or buyer/seller teams. The goal is not to grow the largest real estate team in Portland. The goal is to provide the best real estate purchasing or selling experience. I believe that comes through delivering exceptional customer service with high integrity.

Strategy - Every purchase or sale requires its own individual strategy in order to best position my clients for success. Knowing this, I ascertain our client's personal needs and goals, combine that with specialized market knowledge, experience, and talent, and develop a plan. I recognize that clients are as individual as the properties that we sell. It is imperative to take the time to develop a strategy with them, not force them into a one-size-fits-all model.

Coming from account management in the tech industry, I was used to working with folks on identifying and developing solutions to help them best serve their customers, or help build their business. After determining that staying close to home for my daughter was more important that staying in the industry, I began to pursue my dream job of becoming a Realtor. It's been the most rewarding, challenging, and interesting career, and I'm so thankful for all of my wonderful clients for trusting me.
