About Us

MKB Lawyers is a boutique civil litigation law firm serving clients throughout Oregon and Washington. Its founding members Lowell McKelvey, Kenji Kozuma and Chris Burke combine over fifty years of experience representing clients in personal injury, construction defect, real estate and insurance coverage. This year, MKB Lawyers added the expertise of lawyer and realtor Chris Burke, strengthening MKB Lawyers' personal injury and real estate practices.

How We Got Started

Two former downtown insurance defense lawyers decided to join forces and create a boutique litigation firm specializing in personal injury, construction defect and insurance law. With the addition of Chris Burke we now have over 50 combined years of experience in personal injury, construction defect, insurance and real estate law.
