About Us
OSA houses The Oregon School of Arts & The Gallery. We offer classes, workshops, demos and other fun events for artists of all abilities and ages. And we have monthly exhibitions open to everyone to exhibit and view.
How We Got Started
OSA was born by a group of conservative artists who were involved the Portland Art Museum in 1926. This group wanted to teach and exhibit independently. In the 1950's, they built our current building proving a permanent space for instruction and exhibition. Over time we have diversified course offerings and opened The Gallery to the community, anyone can exhibit here.
