We love helping medical facilities grow while saving lives from addiction. That's what we're passionate about.

With over 10 years of solving SEO and content marketing challenges with healthcare providers, our team knows how to reduce digital marketing costs, save valuable time, and build trust and loyalty from patients.

How We Got Started

From David our Founder:
I love helping people. I became a registered nurse in 2009 and worked in Emergency Departments in Phoenix and Prescott, Arizona.

I saw how so many people were struggling with addiction, but were unable to afford help and truly change their lives. I had to make a difference.

In 2014 I began Life Transformation Recovery, a nonprofit addiction treatment center. I was spending too much time writing blog posts, frustrated with not seeing reliable results from the agencies we were working with, and spending too much money on digital advertising.

I started learning about SEO and decided, "We can do a better job," and started my own expert digital marketing team.

The entire Digitalis team is dedicated to saving lives from addiction. We donate a minimum of 20% of all our profits to recovery-based nonprofits, and our staff regularly volunteer for nonprofits who are recovery-focused.

They are typically the most appreciative, the ones who benefit the most, and the most profitable for you all at the same time. -What are their interests? Consider age, occupation, job description, lifestyle, annual salary, hobbies, passions, family situation, and everything else. -What do they really value? Freedom, independence, convenience, lifestyle activities, pets, relationships/connection (think Facebook), elite status (think Apple), being “cool” (Beats headphones), and everything else that your best customers really value. Create language in all of your marketing materials (flyers, website, ads, everything!) to speak to solving the problems in connection to the values of that group of people! That will help narrow it down.  The next step is split testing changes in individual items on your marketing campaigns and see how those customers respond. You’ll continue expanding according to the best-performing types of marketing.

Before you launch any advertising campaign, the first priority is to answer the following questions: What is my marketing budget? For a growing business, it should be in the general range of 8-20%, depending on how aggressively you want to grow. From that budget, find growth channels that nobody else in your industry is using effectively, and test them cheaply, like with $250 test campaigns. It's also helpful to start by dominating your industry in your local area.  Once you find out the 1-2 channels that work best for the growth stage you're in, focus your advertising dollars on expanding inside those growth channels. Continue optimizing those campaigns to get the maximum return on investment.  Know how much you spend for every new customer in each channel. That will help you determine where to focus advertising dollars. Also, don’t be afraid to spend money to gain new customers. That’s not an expense - it’s an investment in your future!

Create a service or product that will bring more customers/revenue/profits to those small businesses. Build relationships with them through in-person events that help them out and educate them with your expertise, like networking groups, mini-conferences, workshops and local business associations.

If it can be delegated to people, delegate it. If it can be automated by a software to increase efficiency and quality, automate it. Create systems to rule out human error, and just follow the system you've created. That works wonders for our medical SEO team. (more) If it can be delegated to people, delegate it. We love it so much for our healthcare marketing work, I started using it for personal to-dos and planning everyday life! Clickup allows you create spaces, projects, tasks, subtasks, with due dates, assignees, and more. It's really incredible. I've tried Asana and Trello, and it's 5 times better than both of them put together. We use Slack for quick communication, Zoom for video meetings, and Loom for instructions and training.

I've met small sole proprietors who are paying $1300/month to Yelp just to get a few phone calls per month, while their website is ranking on the third page of Google.  Local businesses need a flow of traffic from multiple sources, and that's why working with an SEO agency is so critical. If your business is listed in hundreds of online directories, you have exposure to the audience of those directories, and your own website's authority is boosted at the same time.

If it takes a ton of work to rank high with one site, you're better off focusing your efforts on that site. If it's easy to rank high in your industry, you can potentially double your traffic by building a second site, as long as you have the budget to get high rankings on that one too. If you would like me to take a look at your goals and who you're trying to reach, I can help point you in the right direction. My agency Mammoth Web Solutions specializes in web design and search engine optimization, and I won't charge to take a look and give some advice.
