How We Got Started

Tracie Hicks earned an Associate of Arts degree in Communications from the University of Phoenix. She worked hard in earning her Bachelor of Arts degree in English & Creative Writing (Fiction and Screenwriting) and her Master of Arts degree in English & Creative Writing (Fiction) from Southern New Hampshire University. 

Her main genres of writing are horror, science fiction, and fantasy. She is open to trying her hand in other styles.

I use many Social Media platforms, Facebook, Twitter, Google Plus, Instagram, Ello, Tackk, LinkedIn, StumbleUpon, Reddit, Pinterest, MySpace, Tumblr and some others. I just... I just started using VK and a neighbor network site. I got around 15 or so Social Media sites; I do get views on my articles, put no interactions, no one responds, there is no "social" side.

Hello Judy, Wordpress is not dead. Places like GoDaddy host Wordpress sites, prices start at $7.99 a month up to $24.99 a month. Depending on the size and tools you want. You can go to Wordpress.org, and they have a list of other sites that host Wordpress. Wordpress.com (I use this site), has... (more) Hello Judy, Wordpress is not dead. Places like GoDaddy host Wordpress sites, prices start at $7.99 a month up to $24.99 a month. Depending on the size and tools you want. You can go to Wordpress.org, and they have a list of other sites that host Wordpress. Wordpress.com (I use this site), has plans ranging from free to $24.92 a month. The Premium and Business plans allow you unlimited Premium Themes at no extra charge, as with the free and personal plans, if you want a Premium Theme you must pay for it. If you want an email connected to your domain name, it costs extra. They even have VIP packages for businesses. I do find Wordpress.com easy to customize your site. Wix's plans start off at free and goes up to $25.00 a month. I tried Wix, but I could not get the comment section to work for readers to leave comments on the blog posts. So, I stayed with Wordpress.com and upgraded from the free to the $8.25 a month (Premium) plan. I might upgrade to the $24.92 plan come August, not sure yet.
