The biggest problem I've had this year is finding workers. I can't get help to load and unload my moving trucks .I have advertised and get very few responses ,those I do get don't have a license. I'm honestly getting to the point of closing or selling my business. The stress of finding reliable...

I'm honestly getting to the point of closing or selling my business. The stress of finding reliable help is taking a toll on my health. $25.per hr . to start ($25.driver,$22.for swamper)doesn't seem to interest many people .

When I talk to customers, I listen to what their expectations are and how to build a relationship of trust .They have to trust me to do the job without loss or damage and I have to trust that I will be paid for the work we do . We work extra hard to make sure customers are satisfied and they tell others about our services .(word if mouth is the best advertising in my opinion) .I also get advice from futures development center .
Starting from nothing .we gave our customers the best service we could provide as quickly as possible and because of that and having some of the hardest workers in the business, our customers have referred us to others and the business continues to grow. I am thankful for my customers but...

I have learned to do all my own repairs. I have received large bills for repairs and have had to repair the truck anyway . Most shops are guessing about what the problem is ,especially with electronic parts .On Diesel it usually has to do with fuel ,oil pressure or computer .

There is no bus service in their area .I send them home with one of the trucks .
