I charge for my labor, and only my cost for parts. I try to find the least cost parts when needed that are up to the specifications required for the job. Yet if the customer insists, I can spend the time looking for cheaper parts or sometimes allow them the opportunity to provide them, but it usually ends up costing them more for my time. However, the customer is always right - even when they insist on paying more... ;-)
