Family vacations come in all shapes and sizes. Red Lodge Montana offers an ideal location for reasonably priced family vacations and get togethers year round. Kids can safely ride their bikes anywhere, play for hours in the great outdoors, and experience a sense of freedom similar to how we able to enjoy our own childhoods.
Families can enjoy a day on the reasonably priced ski mountain, cross country ski, hike on world class trails in three national forests, 70 miles to Yellowstone Park using the Beartooth Highway (one Americas most scenic drives), 60 miles to Cody, fish off your deck or in numerous great fishing holes with Dad or Grandpa, guaranteed wild life (tons of deer and Turkeys) on site, good chance to see a Moose in the spring or fall, or the occasional Brown or Bear.
With 11 riverside vacation rental options on the banks of Rock Creek, we offer families with Children a number of great options vacations and family reunions.
First everyone can walk to town, the skate park, tennis courts, ice rink, basketball courts, the city pool, grocery store, Candy store, restaurants, and bars, and we have 37 acres of open space on site for kids to bike, sled, and explore.
Inside we offer numerous sleeping and activities for kids of all ages.
For two couples with lots of little ones, we offer 109B Kainu where the parents each get a master bedroom with a riverside deck while the kids enjoy the giant bunk room with a queen bed and 3 sets of bunk beds complete with video games, a hot tub off of the living room, dinning room and kitchen creek side deck, and lots of board games.
For Grandma and grandpa we have homes with downstairs bedrooms for them and 2 or 3 three additional bedrooms upstairs for their kids and a loft for 2 to 4 grandchildren.
For family reunions and weddings, we offer 11 homes side by side on Rock Creek with 34 1/2 bathrooms, 26 master king bedrooms, 22 twins or full beds, 6 additional bedrooms with king beds to sleep a clan of 90.
We even have three and four master bedroom offerings for 2,3, or 4 couples to get away from the kids. Its a great way to bring friends together for few day break from the real world. The Island at Rock Creek truly is in town yet a world away.
All of our homes offer kids space with loft areas with twin trundle beds, twin bunk beds, TV's for video games, cable TV, high speed WIFI, two fireplaces, etc.

Spending 2, 3, 5 or 7 days on the banks of a rocky river just three blocks to town is a once in a lifetime change for total serenity. Great for 2, 3 or 4 couples to escape life, fantastic for a wedding or family reunion gathering. Yellowstone and Cody Wy are just an hour away, your in the heart of the Beartooth Mountians, great hiking surrounds you, and life moves at a very slow and peaceful pace.
