Our top concern is the public not adhering to safety guidelines. We have all recommended safety measures suggested by government health in place plus more safety steps put out by the two spa organizations that we belong to.  The unknown is the people coming through our front doors. I have made videos that have images and music that show as an example some of our couples spa treatments and the video directs them to watch the video, then go to our website and enter to win by telling us which treatments are not on the video..works great!  Contests that show an image of a product or is used in a service, example shea butter which when not packaged takes some expertise to go through my website to guess what the image is.  People love contests.. Hope this helps,  Cheers!  Pat You can check out a couple of my video ideas on my spa Facebook page. En Vogue Day Spa in Regina, Saskatchewan Canada

Also, offer a reward to your clients for referring friends to you..We are very active in our community and support our community when ever possible.   We are in our 20th year, and the market here is over saturated.  We have to work harder to keep our share of the market...We work with clubs, newcomers to our area, tradeshows and the list goes on. We have a Loyalty Program, where you receive points for service and retail. A few years ago, we developed a Last Minute Club that provides a discount to a client that can fill a cancellation spot. We let the clients know via an email list of members and recently  have added it as a group to our facebook page. Hope this helps!

A fee of 50% will be applied is applied for short notice. A fee of 100% is charged for all no shows. We do understand that things "come up". If we can fill the appointment time, we won’t be bill the person that cancelled without proper notice. We do give a regular client a bit of grace for the first time but it is explained to them that next time our policy will be implemented. Cheers! Pat

I send a second email saying perhaps my email was missed, I would like confirmation that it has been received and is there any thing I need to clarify or add for their consideration. I have at times had to email a supplier three times or more (I will only continue to to this if it is a product that I can't source anywhere else) and by then I am asking if they are interested in my business purchasing? It is frustrating and I do find it amazing that some businesses are not attentive to requests and wonder how they stay in business.
