As far as a payroll system I use SunTrust their my bank and it saves me a headache, however most banks that allow small business accounts offer this service.
My method of operations has not changed since the start of my business in 1984. My employees all work from home (cost-effective), conferences are now conducted via video conferencing. I communicate with my clients via email, in person, video conferencing or phone calls.

This follows along the same lines as to my business practices before, during the pandemic. I have always utilized online communication and marketing since the insemination of the internet. Because I have found it to be more reliable, and cost-effective.

As a Management Consultant, my clients have primarily been serviced via email, text, fax, etc. For over 30 years my employees work primarily from their homes (no overhead). A majority of my clients, are in medical, real estate and small businesses. Other than working from home, using technology I can't really offer financial tips, other than keep your overhead as low as possible, and always reinvest no less than 35 percent back into your business' reserve account for unforseen circumstances, your insurance should always include a loss of income policy.
Usually when things don't always go according to plan, I look to others in similar businesses, research motivational sites. But most of all, remember that troubles don't last always, as long as you remember that your customers/clients are only people you should always listen to their concerns...

But most of all, remember that troubles don't last always, as long as you remember that your customers/clients are only people you should always listen to their concerns and treat them the way you want to be treated, be true to yourself and be honest no matter how critical. No one is perfect, so it's ok to make mistakes take notes and learn from them.
That's a hard one, due to the fact that I don't celebrate this particular holiday. When we do celebrate the shopping is limited to materials which we make gifts (i.e., jewelry, soaps, etc.) as for the children the gifts are alway a combination of hand-made items and educational material.
