The founder, Sabrina Osso, has long dealt with violence and knows how difficult it is to live in such a chaotic environment. Osso Safe was born out of a 1-Woman Show called, "Home Sweet Home?", that the founder wrote, choreographed, and performed with her dance students at the time. She did extensive research for the show, as she wanted it to be educational and empowering. Sabrina realized how prevalent violence was, and so, she decided to turn the show into a business with products and services to actually solve this problem in schools, workplaces, and, in particular, in places of residence.
