What is the relationship with your immediate superior?

If it is great you can stay until finding something else.  Once you made that complaint a target appeared on your back.  Do your job while looking and be pleasant to everyone.

One way to endear yourself to family members is to talk to them. Ask how was their weekend then listen to the answers. Pick them off one by one at work while looking.  Keep a scorecard of your success.
