About Us

My methods are fun, quick, and easy to learn. Training should be fun for both dog and owner, and by using play methods, your dog will love being obedient!
I offer several unique classes, such as Settle Down for hyper dogs, Growl Class for dog reactive dogs, and The Calming Circle for dogs who are shy/fearful of people. I also offer basic obedience classes and manners classes, as well as private lessons. Success is so simple when you make it fun!

How We Got Started

I had 2 dogs that had many issues, such as dog/dog reactiveness, excessive prey drive, chewing, food stealing, and more. I went back to college so I could train them myself. My dogs are awesome now, and I can now help others like me.

Never even heard of twitch. May be too new, as I asked around and no one else knew of it either.  (more) Never even heard of twitch. May be too new, as I asked around and no one else knew of it either.

The town rules. When I asked if I could run my business out of my home, they said yes. I later got in trouble for it being on my deck, which they said was not allowed. Wish I had read the fine print. Many towns have so many rules, so be sure you know all you need to know to avoid later hassles.  (more) The town rules. When I asked if I could run my business out of my home, they said yes. People just see it as a cost with no immediate benefits. The best way to lay it out is to narrow the cost down to per day, or week. Once people hear it in a simplified lower form it doesn't seem so bad. When I used to work for a company that sold a product service for 29.95 a month, people didn't like the addition to their bill. It was when I told them it was about a dollar a day ( like a cup of coffee) that they realized it truly wasn't that much money, that it just the same as getting a cup of coffee a day. By making a comparison to something of equal value they already buy, they feel better about the cost and value.

Honest is always the best way to go, as it creates a trust in you. Postcards in mailboxes . Thumbtack is also a great way to gain new clients, who then become word of mouth. You can also pick a day where you run a special price, make it special and go all out do they talk about you to friends.  There are so many ways to market, and I just mentioned a few, but the key is really to reach as many areas nearby as possible where people will see your name over and over again

I’ve learned that I neede to schedule my work around my life, not the other way around, and now my kids and I have quality time and I am overall less frantic and more content!

I would set up a table at the next local fair/festival with your beautiful work.
