Love knows no logic, it just IS. The way we express our love is usually learned from many sources by the ways we have been loved - even as children. Lasting relationships with the family we grew up with, the family we have created and romantic love varies greatly. This is exactly why personal counsel and understanding is so essential. We can love one another - but express love differently because of our background and our individual needs and desires. Love can be expressed by, acceptance, respect, vulnerability, trust, empathy, kindness, commitment, thoughtfulness, forgiveness, compromise, gentleness, affection, appreciation and validation.
Unlike, love, passion also plays a role in compatibility between intimate couples. This is usually is not learned from our roots but from our earliest experience in this area. Often it is imagined and desired even from examples we have read in literature or were inspired by in movies and the like.

Whether one loses someone through death or distance, it is most important to realize the relationship came together for a reason. There was something sacred or loving that formed it in the first place. Grief is a normal experience. We even see it in the animal kingdom. Releasing the pain of the loss helps to clear your heart chakra and make steadfast progress - even if it seems slow. Self-counsel, love and recognizing your efforts even in a time of lost helps you to find the rare jewel deep within your soul. To bless and release yourself and the other after separation will make you aware that you are healing. Finding the rare ones that just understand you are going through the process can deepen the loving relationships that still exist in your life.

Most often, I ask them what have they gained or learned in the relationship. Why did they embrace it in the beginning? And then I try to help them look for possible solutions if they want to continue the relationship or help them to bring it to a close if that is the only option left. Often this is the case. It is so important not to judge the persons or situation - but let the client bear witness to their experience and create the changes that can ease the discontent for them. Sometimes a small break can make a world of difference.

It is critical that he understands that his feelings are honorable and compassionate. It is best to let him know that the boy may be mentally ill - but we do not know that as of this moment. Some illnesses are invisible. Lastly, it is normal to grieve a trauma to his classmate and teacher. Sorrow is real. It is normal to feel helpless when something like this happens. It, unfortunately, does happen in this World. Explain to him about the courage of both the teacher and the girl. Also, explain to him about police officers and first responders and how they want to help prevent this. The good news, it appears from the news that both victims will heal. This was a tragedy. His feelings are honest and sincere. You have a fine boy there!
