The Logsdon Group is committed to building long-range preparedness relationships and supporting our region in being better prepared to respond to, and therefore recover from, disasters and emergencies.
In 2006 our founder was RIF'd from her full-time, disaster planning and response position. As she started making phone calls to the community contacts she had been working with it became clear that there was a need for support to our communities that wasn't being met.
When the state emergency management association asked her to submit a proposal for a long term relationship working on statewide preparedness efforts, the reality of her position became clear. Her reputation, knowledge, and abilities place her in the perfect position to support a myriad of efforts.
So, she incorporated and hired herself.
Over the years, the organization has moved away from "one-off" consulting and RFP/Q replies to ongoing relationships with a select group of organizations as well as sharing of information through training and workshops.
In 2018, the business moved from Rolling Meadows, IL to Rockford, IL as Diane's family moved. But we continue to proudly serve our clients as far away as So Cook Co.
