To answer your question ... We are a medium size company in the DMV area. Since we are considered a essential company we are taking steps to protect our clients and workers. We are spraying the back of our trucks with disinfectants. We are whipping down the cab of the trucks with Lysol. Our crews will wear gloves during the move. We also wipe down all equipment daily. All of the wood furniture is being wrapped with quilt pads for protection. Our company is holding regular meetings with our guys to informed them of new data and process. The crew will stay 6 feet away from the customer during the moving process. Our workers will inform the company if they have any symptoms and at that point they will be taken off the schedule.
We also want to protect our workers so we ask customers to open windows and doors 20 min before arrival. We also as customers that may feel symptoms to inform us before the moving date so that we can reschedule them.
