About Us

MY PHILOSOPHY...
I have traveled the world to some amazing places and meet some amazing people. Each place, person and business have amazing stories behind them. The best way I know how to tell these stories is through photography. They say that an image speaks a thousand words, and that is what I want to do. I want to tell those stories, replacing words with amazing photography that just grabs the viewer and brings them in.

My Goal is to tell your story, whether it is to your customers, your loved ones or to the whole world. I want to help you communicate a thousand words with a photo. Let us tell your story together, of your personality, your mission, or your destination. Feel free to contact me.

There are a few reasons for this. The obvious reason is to weed out the scams.  Another reason is to build rapport and trust. This is important for during the shoot. Also this majority of the time usually persuaded people who are just looking into actual clients. It also provides expectations on both ends   Lastly it provides us to get things moving quicker such signing contracts, first payment and so on. Doing this online tends to make people lag or put off such things.  Mind you this is all things learned when you mentor or apprentice underneath another photographer.

It also sets an unrealistic expectation for any potential clients they recommend to you. “He offered me a discount, perhaps you can get one too” But offering a free print like an 8x10 is a much better idea. An 8x10 is $8. That is much better than dipping into your profit margin. Also FREE seems much more rewarding to a client than 10% off.

I have made more money in finding people who have been using my images through “copyright infringement” over actually licensing.

A lot of times I make my own ambient light though.

Well a headshot is a kind of portrait. A portrait portrays a person and who they are as a person/subject.  A headshot is more specifically from the shoulders up, focusing on the head/face. Usually some in a studio like environment.  (more) Well a headshot is a kind of portrait. I started reading/listening to the audiobook but stopped it when all he was doing was talking about himself.  The just of it is to learn to outsource your work and network with the right people. A lot of it is shady business practices, but some of it is really good advice. As a young designer starting out I used to get a lot of inquiries of free work.  I think this goes with a lot of the creative sector. In short a lot is the fault of us creatives. We tend to do some free work without billing our customer. Sending a paid invoice how much things would have costed us a great way to set expectations of how much a services actually worth.  Sometimes as artist we do not set those expectations up front.  I would also say it happens to be where you are gathering your leads. If your only reaching out to certain clientele with a small budget, then guess what your clients are going to expect. It isn’t important to research who your market is and put yourself in front of those people.
