Interior Designers, how do you handle a client who wants to make purchases themselves, but asks you to provide info on the selections you sourced for the design?

If a client wants to make purchases themselves I'd be happy to provide info and specifications to guide them with their selection. My fee will be based on an agreed hourly rate only prior to starting the job.
