How do you handle invitations for your holiday parties? Do you make them yourself or get them made?

I think one of the most influential books that I would recommend for anyone in a leadership position in business is " LEADING CHANGE" by John P. Kotter. No matter the business, change is necessary to stay relevant, stay productive, even stay financially stable; change is necessary. However,... (more) I think one of the most influential books that I would recommend for anyone in a leadership position in business is " LEADING CHANGE" by John P. Kotter. No matter the business, change is necessary to stay relevant, stay productive, even stay financially stable; change is necessary. However, there is a natural human propensity to develop, and then maintain the status quo. It is comfortable and predictable. However, now more than ever in a global economy change is the status quo. I found this book to be practical and easily understood. I like this book because it deals with change on many levels. It speaks to the resistance to change from managers and employees. It is not biased but will help you mitigate from a risk management position how to navigate the waters of change.

Budget is everything. Sometimes we shy away for a more expensive venue because of budget but often a more expensive venue can bring the atmosphere and elegance needed in order to minimalize the decorations.
