Don Pullen was iconic to the music world where he was not only a musician but also he was master composer, arranger, record producer and a bandleader for over 30 years. His active career span from 1964 - 1995 the year that he died at the young age of 53. His musical style was jazz and avant-garde jazz. From 1975-1988 he was co-leader of the George Adams/Don Pullen Quartet and from 1990 he had a connection with African Brazilian Music til his death in 1995 and he emerged as a leader in 1975. I think he is one of the best choices for the Hall of Fame.
