Lilac Design Studio is a full-service interior design firm located in Saint Michael (Minneapolis), MN. We serve clients locally in the Twin Cities of Minnesota as well as nationwide.We specialize in high-end residential new construction and/or remodels, as well as furnishings and styling projects. We help guide clients through every step of the design process, which includes, but is not limited to conceptual design and space-planning, material & finish selections throughout new home or remodel projects, as well as sourcing custom furnishing & styling selections for each project. Lilac Design Studio has a unique eye for design with the ability to mix styles that reflect each client's personality & lifestyle. Our goal is to create a fresh & modern design, all without having to sacrifice comfort and functionality for each space. We understand building or renovating a home can be an overwhelming process, which is why we want to make it a fun and stress-free process!

Tracie credits her inspiration for interior design to her mother, who runs a small sewing business in her home in Hugo, Minnesota and her grandfather who was a local artist in St. Cloud, Minnesota. Over the years, Tracie would always strive to creative designs in her bedroom growing up and it was only inevitable that Tracie found her way into interior design. Tracie has worked with many top design firms over the course of her career, and having two boys and a busy family-life, it only made sense to start the next chapter in her career and create her own business to create more flexibility for her home-life. Tracie’s love for flowers and nature inspired her to name her business after the rows of Lilac bushes that draped the yard along her childhood home. And so…Lilac Design Studio was created!
